We assess every aspect of your lab’s daily operation and we work closely with your medical and technical teams via a comprehensive accreditation process which includes the following steps

  • Data Collection
    Initially, a point of contact will be established with your facility. Medical and technical staff CMEs, licenses and certifications, equipment and facility information will be collected for accreditation.

  • Documentation Review
    We will coordinate with the medical and technical directors of the practice to create and review entirely new policies and protocols for accreditation. This will ensure that all documentation is complaint with IAC Standards.

  • Case review
    Multiple case studies will be thoroughly reviewed and a report detailing all deficiencies will be provided to the facility. This will ensure that cases performed at the practice are compliant with all protocols, diagnostic criteria and IAC standards.

  • Application Submission
    Finally, the IAC accreditation application for the practice will be completed and formally submitted via an online IAC account. Universal Ultrasound will coordinate with the local team to ensure that information acquired for the IAC accreditation application is accurate.
